who i am
i am allison, i live in oakland, and i am in my early 20s. i keep a livejournal for my really personal shit, but its friends only so friend me! and we can learn about each other! i also have more tumblrs, ask for those urls
this blog is an outlet for me to talk about my mental illness, and the psych system in general - things i don’t really want to address on my other blogs. it is very tricky to write about this stuff on the internet for a number of reasons. Firstly, it is intensely personal. Also, it can fall into the wrong hands; impressionable people might take this information as inspiration in the wrong way. This is meant to education the tumblr world about mental illness & surrounding issues - not how to be a crazy person.
Which leads me to my next point: I am not politically correct. I have no idea what are polite & all inclusive descriptive words. The terms I use are things I am comfortable with, and if you don’t like them, sorry.
